I had forgotten how fun horses and dogs are together until we adopted our tiny terrier Oliver! In October 2019, we welcomed Emmie the Toy Aussie into our family as well. Back in my college days at Cal Poly, my dog Jerry used to come to the polo field with me for practice - now Oliver and Emmie are my trail riding buddies in the Sierra Nevada foothills. Our dogs are small but mighty! Trail riding, hiking, running, and going to the river was taking a toll on their leather collars; finding a stylish and durable waterproof collar in their size proved challenging! Using the skills I learned as a leather craftsman in college, I created a line of vegan leather collars that are beautiful and functional!
